ACC2026 COMMUNITY

Before You Arrive

Slack, dinner recommendations, and workshop setup

Dear ACC2026 attendees,

We are excited to welcome you to the AnVIL Community Conference 2026. Before the event begins, we wanted to share a few useful resources: the ACC2026 Slack channel, nearby dinner recommendations, and AnVIL setup instructions for attendees joining Day 1 workshops.

Join the ACC2026 Slack Channel

We invite all attendees to join the ACC2026 Slack channel to connect with other participants, coordinate informal meetups, continue conversations, and ask event-related questions.

Day 1 Workshop Setup

If you are attending the Day 1 hands-on workshops, please complete the attached AnVIL signup instructions before the workshop. The setup should take less than 15 minutes and includes creating an AnVIL account and submitting the email address you used to sign up so the workshop team can add you to a temporary workshop billing account.

Friendly reminder: Day 1 workshops are for in-person attendees only. We look forward to welcoming virtual attendees online for Day 2 talks and community programming.

Self-Organized Dinner

After Day 1 programming, attendees are welcome to self-organize dinner plans. We have included a few nearby restaurant ideas below, and a more detailed recommendation sheet is attached. Please check restaurant websites or call ahead for current hours, availability, and dietary restrictions.
